Codeweavers Appoint New Key Account Director
Reflecting on our growing footprint amongst the UK’s largest motor retail groups, we've appointed a dedicated key account director to work alongside and consult with the UK’s major groups.
Adam Canay, who has been promoted to the role, has 15 years of motor experience, which started in a motor finance broker, combines a deep understanding of the motor retail environment, finance and technology. It is a background that means he can talk to dealers authentically, guiding them on strategies to optimise their digital approach to finance. Adam notes;
Challenges and opportunities for motor finance are everywhere right now and we see how a smart collaborative approach to leverage API technologies can help dealers to move swiftly to ensure they have a smart, compliant edge that works for customers and dealers alike. The pace of this change is unprecedented and can be confusing. My role is to help clients to cut through the maze of possibilities and stay ahead of the game.
The breadth of Codeweavers proposition has expanded rapidly over recent years. It means that Adam will be helping groups to identify new & creative ways to support vehicle finance online and supporting them in developing their POS, DMS and CRM systems, where Codeweavers provides a series of unique capability solutions via the business API warehouse.
Adam concludes; In today’s increasingly omnichannel car retailing environment, technologies should not operate in isolation; an integrated strategy is required. Finance must operate across all platforms and with the latest FICO research suggesting 48% of all UK car buyers want to self-serve their next car finance agreement and the widely expected changes to the regulatory framework for dealer finance on the horizon; my job is to help dealers to future-proof their operating model. It is an exciting and for some challenging time; at Codeweavers we, have the resources, track-record and agility to help.
