Codeweavers Sponsors the OS Invitational Charity Golf Day in Support of Ben
On Wednesday 23rd July, Codeweavers were proud to take part in the inaugural OS Invitational Charity Golf Day, hosted at the stunning Dyke Golf Club in Brighton. Organised by 67 Degrees and Octane Finance, the event brought together automotive industry professionals for a day of friendly competition and meaningful fundraising in support of Ben, the automotive industry charity.
Representing Codeweavers on the course were Senior Digital Account Manager, Jake Roden and Digital Account Manager, Declan Heath, who joined fellow trade partners, dealers, and affiliates for a Ryder Cup-style showdown between Team 67 Degrees and Team Octane Finance.

The Codeweavers team took the opportunity to connect with industry peers in the friendly competition raising money for Ben. Jake Roden who played for the winning 67 Degrees Team along with other trade and industry professionals said:
“It was a pleasure to not only sponsor, but to play in the first ever OS Invitational. A fun-filled day catching up with key partners and customers both on and off the golf course, all with the main goal of raising as much money as possible for Ben.
Thank you to Octane and 67 Degrees for the opportunity to connect and raise over £12,000 for Ben. Two goals for next year: raise even more money and retain the trophy!”
Supporting a Cause That Matters
Despite the focus of the day being on golf, the day had a larger goal of raising money for Ben. The event raised an incredible £12,510 for Ben, a charity that provides vital support to people in the automotive sector facing challenges with mental health, physical wellbeing, and financial hardship.
Laura Coleby, founder and CEO of 67 Degrees, commented on the event's success:
"What an incredible day! The competitive spirit was fantastic, but the real winner was Ben and the automotive industry community. Raising £12,510 for such a vital cause exceeded all our expectations.
“The OS Invitational perfectly embodies the collaborative spirit that makes our industry so special. It was the ideal opportunity to bring together partners and clients for a cause that supports the people who drive our sector forward.”
