What BMW wanted

BMW Financial Services wanted to develop a comprehensive online buying experience for customers with finance at its heart, continuing on from their existing new car configurator journey.

A newly designed finance calculator was the key component, enabling the potential customer to understand their different purchase options. One option was a personal contract hire product, which needed to be offered alongside the other purchase options (PCP, HP & cash).

The team worked

We worked with a number of agencies and BMW / BMW FS teams to identify the solution that would fit the requirements of the wider BMW FS journey.

We redesigned their existing finance calculator to meet the new requirement, with the focus on adding dynamic content to provide the user with as much information as possible about their chosen finance products.

A 360-degree experience

BMW Retail Online now offers customers the complete multi-channel buying experience, giving the customer the choice of buying a car totally online or calling upon their retailer to complete the purchase journey.

Covering the complete BMW range, we built a partial, user-friendly solution for the online purchase of a BMW, inclusive of the financial process.

Uniquely BMW

We built a bespoke finance calculator, finance application and the capability for retailer and customer to negotiate the deal, all as part of the online journey. 

The style of the finance solution was unique to BMW FS and very much on brand. The functionality allowed the customer’s proposal to be automatically submitted to BMW Financial Services.
