Another new feature has been added to the ‘Finance Control Panel’ functionality for Codeweavers’ clients.

And it’s a big one. Now it is possible for you to control and amend your sell-out rates at a vehicle level. This means that you now have granular control for your stock on a finance-product-by-finance-product basis. So, if on a particular vehicle you want to amend the sell-out rate on HP to 11.9% APR and the sell-out price on PCP to £300 commission then you can do so.

The possibilities here are endless – you can now amend the finance offer for the vehicle to highlight PCP as a product, or to offer deals on over-age stock, or even to amend the rates on a particularly desirable vehicle. All through your ‘Finance Control Panel’ tool.

We’ve added another new feature to Finance Control Panel for our multi-franchise and multi-site customers.

It is now possible for someone at a central/head office level to amend the sell-out rates for all sites within the entire dealer group. This means that the default sell-out rates can be edited across all sites in that dealer group, or just at an individual site.

Why is this valuable to you? Well, consider the following scenarios:

• A Used Car Weekend event
  You can now amend your default sell-out rates on the Friday evening, and turn them back on the Monday morning.
• Geographical split of sites
  Do you make more out of F&I from some site locations than others? No problem. Tailoring your sell-out rates on a site by site basis can protect your valuable finance income.
• Prestige vs Volume sites
  If you sell both, you can now tailor your sell-out rates by site to take account of individual preferences.

How can you change the sell-out rates? Just log into your Finance Control Panel at https://www.yourcarloan.co.uk/Administration/ using your user name and password.
