We recently mystery shopped one of our large multi-franchise clients, Marshall Motor Group, using the ‘E-Mail me this Quotation’ tool built into the dealer’s website.
Stock was chosen from several different retail site locations, and requests for various finance quotations were made.
Every quotation request made was successfully delivered to our inbox immediately, and the dealer sites were advised by e-mail of our quotation request.
We were trying to find out whether the finance leads we generated were followed up by the retail sites, and if so how long this took.
The results were extremely encouraging. In all instances the sales manager at each of the retail sites responded to our requests within four minutes. This is a first class standard of customer service.
The e-mail response to the customer was worded sensitively and politely, asking us if we were happy to discuss the finance figures in more depth, and whether the quotation was acceptable to us.
